SOUTHERN RAILWAY
BOGIE QUEEN MARY
BRAKE VANS
Presenting the SR Bogie Brake Vans for TSC in a variety of liveries covering their long working lives. From the says of Southern steam, all the way to the Sectorisation era of British Rail. These 25T vans were designed in the 1930s as the Southern Railway sought to improve their methods of transporting goods. With their double set of bogies under the frame and excellent braking force, these vans were able to travel at high speeds with the guard in relative comfort, compared to other more common 4-wheel brake vans.
